The 242 provides additional space and enhanced offshore comfort at an attractive price point.
To prevent osmotic blistering, the hull sides and deck boxes are filled with foam and coated with a vinyl ester barrier. This not only ensures a quieter ride but also improves insulation for fish or cooler boxes and enhances overall safety.
The hulls and decks receive a gel coat initially, followed by the application of a vinyl ester barrier coat on all hulls below the waterline to prevent osmotic blistering. Additionally, capping knuckles and hull sides are also gel coated to improve the appearance.
Each model features a unique, one-piece finished and gel-coated stringer system. These systems are bonded to the hull using Methacrylate for a strong chemical connection. Furthermore, all stringer systems are fully gel coated to prevent mold growth and simplify maintenance.
