Introduction +
The 2020 Lagoon 560 S2 is a catamaran that is easy to love from the first step aboard.
Designed by VPLP with interiors by Nauta Design, she gives you the space of a much larger yacht. The saloon opens onto the cockpit and the central galley sits in the middle of it all, so everyone stays together whether you are cooking, dining or simply enjoying the view. And the five cabins, each with its own bathroom, give family and friends a private corner of their own.
On the exterior, the flybridge is a quiet place to steer, sunbathe or watch the sun go down.
This first-owner yacht has been carefully maintained, with her engines serviced by an authorised Yanmar centre and she is ready for her next owner, with the Mediterranean cruising grounds right on her doorstep.

Interiors +
Step in from the cockpit and you enter a bright, open saloon, where blond Alpi oak, Milano flooring and soft Chalk upholstery set a calm, natural tone. The saloon’s vertical window lets in plenty of daylight, and Venetian blinds on the door and rear windows give you shade and privacy when you want it.
The central galley is part of the room rather than set apart from it. It has a Miele dishwasher for twelve place settings, a microwave and an extra 100-litre stainless freezer, so the cook stays part of the conversation. Leather finishing and extra poufs complete a space made for long lunches and relaxed evenings.
Next, a chart table brings navigation and engine controls together, with a 16-inch plotter, a joystick and dual electronic engine controls.
Below, five cabins give everyone their own private space, each with a bathroom of its own and each with the same Alpi oak woodwork as the saloon. They are carpeted and have indirect lighting. Fans and centralised reversible air conditioning keep them comfortable all year, and curtains at the steps down to the aft cabins add privacy. The owner’s bathroom has a second washbasin and a frosted-glass shower. All the bathrooms have electric fresh-water heads with integrated bidets.
When the day winds down, a stereo with speakers in the saloon, cockpit and flybridge sets the mood. The saloon is also prepared for a concealed lift cabinet for a TV, and every cabin has TV mounts pre-installed.
This Lagoon 560S2 also offers accommodation for 2 crew members in 2 single in the bow, each with a bed, bathroom, and shower.

Exteriors +
The Lagoon 560 S2 welcomes you from the water. Teak steps at the stern lead up to the aft cockpit, a shaded, comfortable space for meals, drinks and long conversations. Teak flooring, cushions with a reclining backrest, an 80-litre cockpit fridge and sunshades make it easy to spend the whole day here. When the weather changes, a full enclosure with windows turns it into a sheltered outdoor room. A fresh-water connection on the dock, courtesy lights and spotlights on the transom make mooring and evenings in port easy.
From the cockpit, a walk forward leads to a second outdoor area. The forward cockpit is another space with its own cushions and two sunloungers with adjustable backs. It is a peaceful spot to read, sunbathe or watch the coast go by.
Up on the flybridge, an aluminium seating, a folding table and sunbathing cushions create a space of your own. The helm is shaded by a bimini with LED lighting and direct access to the boom, and two cameras under the flybridge help when manoeuvring. A motorised closure and a covers kit protect the helm, the cockpit table and other gear when she is not in use.
For days on the water, a hydraulic tender lift platform with remote control makes launching the Ocean Master Deluxe 420 tender (with a Honda 50hp engine) easy. A Bauer compressor on board fills dive cylinders, and four underwater lights light up the sea around her in the evening. Her light grey hull and dark grey and graphite exterior upholstery give her a modern, understated look.

Sails and rigging +
The Lagoon 560 S2 has a sloop rig that is easy to manage with a small crew. The mainsail, on an aluminium boom with a lazy bag, and the furling genoa are controlled from the flybridge, where three electric winches take the effort out of sail handling. A bimini over the helm gives access to the boom, and a chain counter on the flybridge helps when anchoring. B&G instruments, an autopilot with remote control and a joystick complete a rig that is set up for relaxed passage-making.
